Meet Sophie

I am a licensed Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist practicing in Los Angeles (Silverlake), California.

I help children and teenagers who are struggling with anxious thoughts, overwhelmed by grief, or feel flooded by their emotions.

I am passionate about championing the healthy development of children and teenagers by providing them with the safety to find their voice and and fully embrace who they are.

I love creating a therapeutic environment where children and teenagers finally feel heard, understood, and hopeful. I provide a safe and consistent space to help children and teenagers experience full acceptance, empathy, and understanding while processing their inner experiences. I take a person-centered approach to therapy, while my understanding of child development, play therapy, and attachment theory drives treatment. My approach allows children and teenagers to go at their own pace, while gently pushing them to confront their discomfort. This permits children and teenagers to build confidence, enhance their ability to self-regulate, and ultimately, thrive. My aim and hope is to help your child or teenager build lasting, positive change.
