Meet Glory
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in therapy for older adolescents (16–18), college students (18–24), and young adults (18–30+), providing support through the pressures, identity shifts, and life transitions that come with stepping into greater independence and self-direction
I offer outdoor sessions at the San Diego beach or bay, and telehealth for clients throughout California, Virginia, and through PsyPact.
I support teenagers, young adults, and college students as they navigate the exciting, sometimes rocky, process of becoming who they are. Individuation can bring inevitable pain points, but feeling understood, validated, and equipped to handle these challenges makes all the difference.
At the heart of my work is the belief, in the words of Diana Fosha, that “undoing aloneness” is how we heal. Humans aren’t meant to suffer in isolation. My goal is for you to feel seen, supported, and accepted, especially in the midst of discomfort or pain. Whether you’re juggling academic or career expectations, navigating relationships, exploring your identity, or facing transitions like moving for college or starting a career, I can help you feel grounded and more connected to who you want to be. Through the process of radical acceptance, connection, and self-compassion, meaningful change naturally unfolds.
I draw from a constructivist and humanistic lens, complemented by tools from third-wave behavioral therapies (DBT and ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). Depending on your needs, we’ll find an approach that helps you build awareness and accountability, opening the door to deeper connection with yourself and others.
I am authorized through PSYPACT to provide telehealth therapy to clients located in participating states. This allows me to support teens and young adults who attend college or move between states, offering consistency and flexibility in care.
What I help with
-
The drive to excel can turn into harsh self-judgment or burnout. You may be feeling like you’re never doing enough. I can help soften self-criticism and develop a more compassionate, sustainable way of relating to yourself.
-
This stage of life can bring big feelings: worry about the future, low mood, irritability, or a sense of heaviness that’s hard to shake. I offer a space to slow down, understand what’s underneath, and develop tools to feel more steady and supported.
-
Many clients struggle with friendships, romantic relationships, or family dynamics , especially as independence grows. I can support clients in setting boundaries, communicating more clearly, and building healthier, more fulfilling connections.
-
Questions like Who am I? What do I want? Am I enough? are common during times of growth and transition. Clients often come in wanting support with feeling more authentic, clarifying their values, building self-trust, and feeling more grounded in who they are becoming.
-
Starting college, moving away from home, changing majors, entering the workforce, or navigating post-college life can feel disorienting. I can help you process these shifts and find a sense of stability during periods of change.
-
Feeling constant pressure to succeed, perform, or “get it right” can be exhausting. Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed by expectations, their own or others’, and unsure how to balance ambition with wellbeing.
-
You may not be in crisis, but you feel unsure, unmotivated, or disconnected from direction or purpose. I can help create a place to reflect, gain clarity, and reconnect to yourself with a sense of meaning and forward movement.
